Why ValueSpoc exists

In his own consulting projects the value was defined right at the start, in scope and analysis. After that the work was delivered, reported and closed, and nobody returned to the goals set there. At clients the picture was the same, across industries and sizes. Conversations and interviews with the people accountable confirmed the reason: no system holds the chain together from the decision to the benefit that actually arrived. Every stage is documented properly, each in its own tool. Anyone who wants to show at the end what the strategy delivered assembles it by hand, or lets it go. ValueSpoc is the answer to that gap.

Memik Inel spent many years accompanying strategy, portfolio and transformation work in industry and consulting. Eleven of them at KPMG and PwC, most recently as a senior manager for digitalisation and IT strategy, on work in retail and consumer goods, industrial production, and transport and logistics. One experience kept recurring. The business case is calculated once, and from then on the organisation steers by activity, and the effect is no longer measured. ValueSpoc is the answer to that, self-funded and built independently, in professional exchange with experienced practitioners from consulting and industry.
